Thank you for choosing Babies in Common!
If you are a looking for prenatal/childbirth classes or CPR classes, you're in the right place. What you need to know:
- most of our clients choose are largest package of classes, Awesomely Ready for Birth and Baby. This package includes the following:
- Awesome Birth Ready: a 3-session online course done live via Zoom, and we greatly encourage interaction and require camera's to be one the whole time so we can see you--as if we were really together in real life!. This class is usually 3 weekday evenings in a row.
- Move & Get Comfy for Labor: a 2-session course. The first class is on a weekday evening via Zoom and is live and interactive with cameras on. The second part is typically the Sunday after that first class and we encourage those who can attend in-person at our office in Northborough to do so...otherwise, it can be attended virtually via Zoom (again, with camera on, and your birth partner is required to attend).
- Breastfeeding Ready: choose either the weekday evening option via Zoom or the Sunday in-person option. This also includes the on-demand MythBusting mini-course and bonus videos, all of which you'll get access to before or after class (watch your email).
- Pump and Bottle Ready: an on-demand course which you'll get access to AFTER you take the Breastfeeding Ready course (watch your email).
- New Baby and Postpartum Ready: a weekday evening class via Zoom (again, cameras on).
- CPR and Choke Saving Skills is NOT included in any package and is in-person only, at our office in Northborough, Massachusetts. This is NOT a certification class.
If you are a perinatal professional/IBCLC looking for any of our professionals courses, MOST of them are available on-demand, but some are available as live events using this scheduling system. Click here to learn more about all our courses for professionals, including the on-demand options.
If you are looking to schedule a feeding consultation (prenatally or after baby has arrived), we are here to help! Here are some important things you need to know:

INSURANCE INFORMATION
- MOST insurances reimburse fully for consultations with us. We can't guarantee anything but if you are curious about your insurance company, click here to learn more.
- We currently take Cigna commercial insurance plans. You need to check your eligibility by clicking here before you sign up. After you have confirmed your eligibility, you'll need to sign up FIRST for a Cigna-insured Consult--choose a VIRTUAL visit for your first visit. THEN, immediately after you sign up for that one, sign up for a Cigna-insured Consult, as EITHER a virtual visit or in-person visit, whichever you prefer, but it must be the day after the first visit (the virtual visit) or more than a day later. All Cigna-insured in-person visits are only offered as office visits. Right now we are only offering these visits at our Northborough location (Wellesley coming soon). To ensure the above is understood, when making your first appointment as a Cigna-insured person, you are actually expected to make TWO appointments: the first one virtual and the second one EITHER virtual or in-person, the next day or later. Cigna plans typically allow you 4-6 visits, but special situations may allow for more visits. You can discuss that later, with your Babies in Common lactation consultant.
- We are working on taking additional insurances, but right now we cannot bill other insurances.
- MassHealth does not allow us to be in-network, nor does it reimburse for lactation care, but we offer a large discount for those on MassHealth plans (if it's your primary insurance). Use the discount code MASSHEALTHAPPT and email a photo of your MassHealth card to jeanette@babiesincommon.com.
We look forward to meeting you!!
